Roon rel 1.8: Loosing my DAC on start up

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

After updating to release 1.8, my Nucleus seems to be resetting my SMSL SU-9 DAC from USB input mode to DSD…and then it will not recognize the zone. I need to power everything down and restart in order to get everything to synchronize…and even then I need to re-enable the DAC zone. Did not have this issue at release 1.7.
Thoughts?
