Describe the issue

I shut down and powered of my system for vacation. When I turned the system back on I continued to get messages “trouble connecting to the Room Server” restarted several times still no connection. I removed and reloaded the remote app and it just continues to search but does not connect. I checked all network, firewall and security settings. I shut down and restarted the Mac but the app continues to search for the Roon server! The Roon server works perfectly on the Mac it just will not connect to the remote App! I am running the latest update of Sequoia.

Describe your network setup

Hello @Bill_Sabo,

Thank you for reaching Roon support.

macOS Sequoia (version 15), has tighter (and more obfuscated) network security settings than preceding MacOS versions.

Can you please navigate to macOS System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network, and make sure Roon and Roon Server are allowed.

If it is already enabled, toggle it off and on again. Then reboot your Mac, and see if the same issue persists.
