Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

Roon is slow, freezing or won’t start

· Roon won’t start up at all

Tell us what's going on

· Having the issue that others are having with roon remote app not loading. Made sure the I had notifications turned on which they were. I toggled them off and back on again for good measure. Restart my pixel 8, and no joy. Today 7/13 the update came through and I updated from play store. Still the exact same problem. I have double checked notifications again and they are on. I have restarted my phone after the update. I have checked my roon server to make sure it is up to date. I am out of options. I have never, and I mean never had a problem before this one and have been using roon for years and years. Any help would be appreciated. I miss playing my music.

By the way I have an old OnePlus phone I use in my workout room. The roon remote app has been working fine on it. I don't think it had the update.

· I have Google fiber running into a Netgear orbi mesh wifi 6 system. I don't use a vpn. Nothing fancy.

Thanks for writing in and for sharing your report. Sorry to hear the latest hotfix doesn’t seem to help either.

If you haven’t yet, please full delete the Roon mobile app from your Pixel 8, and perform a clean download via our downloads page here.

Make sure you’re over a stable network as well, and let us know if the same issues occur. If so, the underlying cause may be different in your case, and we’ll want to grab a set of mobile logs if possible.
