Describe the issue
Roon remote on Androild phone can't connect to Roon Server but Roon remote on Windows laptop can, eventhough both are WIFI connected to the same Asus Router mesh node. And when I connect mobile phone to the MAIN router instead of mesh node, Roon remote can connect to Roon Server without problem.

First thing to do would be to setup a hardwire ethernet connection from your Roon Server machine to your primary router. Chances are, your mesh networks are causing your other devices to connect to a different subnet within your own local network.
You can disable any additional subnets to test this, but your issue seems to be related to your network. Start by simplifying your local setup, and let me know how things go!
Hi benjamin:
Roon server is hardwire connected to primary router.
I checked IP address of mobile phone with problem connecting Roon server and IP adress of laptop conneted to Roon server withou problem. They are under the same subnet(192.168.100.XXX). And they are connected to the same mesh node and function differently.
Hi Daniel:
Just let you know my new finding.
I replace the AC88U with a new AX router and keep the same mesh structure. And I found if I connect my mobile to this new AX node,Roon just work properly. I tried to connect my mobile to AC1900,Roon still doesn’t work. These lead to me a suspect that current version of Roon works properly with AX router but not AC router. I hope it is helpful to you.
This would suggest that the AX node and the main AC88U are on different subnets, even if they share the same IP range. I would try to look into the mesh node configuration and make sure that it is in Access Point mode and that it has no DHCP router capabilities turned on, so that the AC88U can handle all the DHCP and subnet assignments.
Hi Noris:
Please find attached.
Line 1: NUC11 is the Roon Server
Line 4: Huawei Mate30 pro is my mobile phone which is not able to connect to Roon server.
Line 7: Pro is my laptop which is connected to Roon server and working porperly.
You can see they are under the same subnet.
Hi @ximin_Deng,
I notice you have some static IP addresses and some DHCP assigned IP addresses. Can you make sure that the range for DHCP addresses does not include those static IP addresses?
Hi Daniel:
Thanks. Static IP is within 1 t0 10 and DHCP range is from 11-255 so there is no IP conflict.
Currently I bind my mobile phone to the AX router to avoid connecting to AC router. So I can use Roon on mobile phone now–it is not satifying solution but it works.Just WIFI signal is not so good.Still I hope to find better solution.
