Description Of Issue

Roon remote version all 1.7 after installation on tablet ( OVERMAX QUAL CORE 1026 3G) does not work. After launching Roon Remote - “Unfortunately, Roon has stopped”
Version 1.6 installation starts ok. However, this version is not compatible with my Roon Rock.
Android version - 6.0
The latest software version is installed on the tablet. I also contacted the service. I reinstalled the android on the table. Many attempts to reinstall Roon Remote of all 1.7 versions. By the way, I am an IT specialist by profession. Unfortunately, I cannot solve the problem.

I suspect this is because the device doesn’t support the minimum requirements for Roon 1.7:

  • Android 5.0 or higher
  • Supports OpenGL ES 3.0 (IIRC this changed between 1.6 and 1.7)
