How do I enable Roon on a (headless) mac-mini to auto run after an update from roon?
Hi @Mark_Gintis,
Appreciate it was a while ago but has anything changed since you posted this?
Are you running RoonServer on the Mac Mini (rather than “full” Roon with GUI)?
Yes, a real mac-mini. I can switch to its output with the “input” button on the monitor, however in general, no one looks at it.
When there is a Roon update, there is a question box on the screen about updating or not, however it is not seen. The Roon remotes have the same message, but when I say “YES” the server does not update and the currently installed version does not respond to requests to play.
Thanks
Hey @Mark_Gintis,
Ben with the support team following up here, it’s good to see you on community again! Sorry to hear it’s an issue that prompted your recent post, though.
I was able to pull your account up, and I see that your mac mini is now running the latest build. Are you still having issues?
I’ll be on standby for your update.
