The ROCK installer automatically does this but fails in this instance. It happened a few times before according to forum threads. One of these threads had a photo, note that this happens during ROCK installation:
Several of the existing threads don’t end with a posted resolution, but it looks like it may be caused by some issue with an existing partition on the disk. It was solved in this thread by removing everything with a low-level tool:
