Recently I installed Euphony on my laptop. It is running Roon core v1.5 build 339 stable 64bit. Roon was previously working running under Windows10 on this same machine.
Now Roon will not see my DAC attached via USB (Wyred4Sound DAC2). If I switch Euphony to use their inbedded player, sound comes out my DAC just fine.
When I switch Euphony to use Roon, Roon does not see my DAC. I have tired restarted the server, the Roon core and my DAC with no luck.
Euphony is a custom distribution of Linux, thus necessitating that a connected DAC includes support for Linux as well. While we do not have the device on-hand as a part of our Roon Tested program to confirm, my research leads me to believe that the Wyred4Sound DAC2 does not support Linux.
