I am selling my home and moving to another home. The buyer would like to buy my Roon server and music experience. Is there a way with his new Roon account to import and use my existing data base and music. I would then buy a new roon server and import my backup. Thank you in advance!
No, the Roon database and backups are tied to your Roon account. They can’t be used with another account.
If you only use streaming services, you could probably use Soundiiz to export from one streaming account to another. Then, create a new Roon account and connect to the new streaming account. All your music will be reflected in the new account.
However, if you have local media, then what you propose–even though not possible with Roon–would be illegal.

I think it’s technically illegal to give, or sell copies of your music to other people.
Hey Deny, Yes that is true. But curious why it wont work, say my son inherited my roon account and library. He should be able to put it into his name and be able to retain the database.
I’m not a lawyer, and I think it’s sticky subject.
You are mixing up the question of the Roon account and the music
The Roon licence is non-transferable.
And, regarding music media, when we’re gone, our music collection becomes part of our estate, so it could be divided, sold, or retained by someone in our will.
But we cannot legally give away our music away and still retain copies.
