Description of Issue
I have ROCK installed on an Intel NUC and the DAC is connected to it via USB. It was stable like hell but in the last two weeks I constantly get the message that Roon lost controll of the audio device and playback stops. It even dissapeared several times from the list of audio devices until a power reset of the NUC (DAC is only USB powered). I can’t tell from which Roon version I’m having this issue but now I’m on 1.8 build 918 and it’s the same. I made several resets, tried different USB ports and it’s always the same. Is it a known bug? Should I / can I make a reinstall to an earlier version?
