Roon server does not connect after upgrade

Cannot connect to Roon Server running on Windows 10 after last upgrade (Dec-19).

What happens if you click „select a different Roon server“? Does it show up and can you connect then?

This started happening to me off an on since the last update as well. Usually lasts less than 30 sec.

Tried this, still does not work. I can setup again but I don’t want to lose my DB/playlists.
Also tried to run the Roon Server (desktop icon) to see it this helps. Same.

I had a similar problem this week.

I had to add a new Roon application to my firewall exception rules: roonappliance.exe.

Already have it.

I’m having the same problem here. Telling me that the Roon server isn’t running and I can’t seem to get it started

Finally fixed it. Re-installed as @AMT suggested. Did not work at first.
Close AV and tried again. Played with the options (anything to search but not set). It finally worked.

Restarted AV. Hope it will stay like this. I assume this is because of the change to separate core and client. Thanks.

Reinstalling Roon fixed it. Everything back to normal now - all DB and playlists etc still there
