Roon Server experiencing slowness and track skipping on Synology NAS DS620slim (ref#W3WOD2)

Do you encounter any playback errors with the "System Output" Zone?

· The System Output has the same problem as my other Zone.

Is your RoonServer machine running MacOS 15 Sequoia or above?

· I still can't see my endpoints as available Zones.

Do you have a complex network setup?

· Both the device and RoonServer are connecting to a *single router*

What are the make and model of the affected audio device(s) and the connection type?

Describe the issue

Since the last update (version 2.48, build 1516) the roon server is going slow and skip tracks reporting both low access to files or bad connectivity to TIDAL. The server is running on a Synology NAS server (DS620slim with 6GB memory configutarion and DSM 7.2.2)

Thanks for writing in, and welcome to the community! Sorry to hear about your issues.

It looks like we’re unable to connect to your Roon Server to enable diagnostic mode. In this case, could you please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader? Once logs have been uploaded, please let us know so that we can check the server for your files, thanks!

We’re not seeing any macOS machines tied to your account - feel free to bring them online as well and we’ll see if we can investigate further.
