Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the forum! According to our diagnostics server, it looks like your RoonServer hasn’t been active in over a week.
Are you able to manually search for RoonServer in your Windows start menu and open it that way? Do you see any specific errors?
If you have checked this, please manually access your RoonServer logs by using these instructions, and upload them to our uploader below, and let us know once uploaded so that we can review them, thanks!
Logs show a lock file error on startup. Roon/RoonServer don’t appear to have fully closed before the update was installed and Roon was relaunched, and the cache has become corrupted.
This probably isn’t evidence of any deeper-level library corruption, but it’s worth verifying that you have a Backup of your Roon database just in case.
In the meantime, the following steps should sort this out:
In Task Manager, force close any background processes related to Roon. This includes: Roon.exe, RoonServer.exe, RoonAppliance.exe, RAATServer.exe, and RoonGoer.exe.
Next, try to launch Roon again.
If Roon still won’t start, navigate to your Roon database location(where you gathered logs) and find the Roon folder. Delete it. Reinstall the app from our website. This won’t reinstall RoonServer or affect your library, but will freshly reinstall the Roon app itself.
