Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

Tell us what's going on

· I have upgraded my server to what I think is most recent (July 2026) and now my server does not start. Instead the display says "Waiting for your Roon Server". There is a button labeled "Start Roon Server" but that only returns the app to the same "Waiting..." display. My MacOS is Monterey 12.7.6

Tell us about your home network

· My server connects wirelessly to an Apple AirePort Extreme which connects to my Verizon modem.

There is a hot fix for this issue, search for hot fix and apply the HF update.

Hey @dointhefish, thanks for the details.

This does look like the startup issue we have been tracking after the recent update, and there is a hotfix available for it. Please update to Roon 2.71 hotfix (#1683) is Live! if you have not already, then please try starting Roon Server again. You may need to download the fix from our Downloads Page and install it manually.

Reply with what you see after the hotfix, and we will take it from there.
