Roon server not loading due to Mac OS limitations on Mac Mini (ref#4S9K7D)

Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

Describe the issue

Roon server is no longer working, will not load due to Mac OS limitations in the latest update. I am running Mac 10.2 on an older Mac Mini and this is the latest OS that can be loaded on this machine.

Hard wired Mac Mini to the network via eero Pro 7 router

You can temporarily reinstall version 2.64, which works with your outdated macOS. The download link is in the release notes:

Going forward, you need macOS 12 (Monterey), but most Intel Macs that don’t get the update from Apple can easily be updated with Open Core Legacy Patcher (OCLP):

Thanks for reaching out. @Suedkiez post here is spot-on, you can downgrade via that package installer, or update to the latest macOS version to support this and future versions of Roon.
