Describe the issue
Roon Server on Windows 11 will not play to WiiM AirPlay Devices. This appears related to the MacOS 27 AirPlay issue. However, all AirPlay 1 devices play from Roon, now the HomePod minis (AirPlay 2) play from Roon, but AirPlay 2 devices that are not manufactured by Apple are not playing from Roon.
Describe your network setup
Ethernet W11 Roon Server, WiFi for all Roon endpoints. ASUS BQ16 Pro mesh network.
We reviewed your logs. Your HomePod minis are playing normally again, and your WiiM Pro Plus plays from the Roon Ready zone (“WPP”). The AirPlay zone for the same WiiM (“WPP AP”) is the one that fails: at 12:31 PM on Oct 4 the WiiM completes pairing but does not answer the next request, so the zone stops.
Please tell us which firmware version is installed on the WiiM Pro Plus and the WiiM Ultra (in the WiiM Home app under device settings), and whether the same devices play over AirPlay from your iPhone or Mac. We also do not see the WiiM Ultra in your logs, so please tell us whether it is powered on and on the same network as the server.
Thank you @vadim. Your logs confirm what I experienced. My WiiM Plus is on F/W 4.8.827634, the most current release. I will need to confirm the Ultra later this week after I am home from traveling. The WiiM PP works fine playing AirPlay from my MacOS, iOS, and iPadOS devices, as well as from the WiiM app using Plex and other WiiM-supported services, just not AirPlay. Does this help?

Please update Roon Server to the latest production build (currently 2.73.2, build 1700) and try playing to the WiiM Pro Plus AirPlay zone (“WPP AP”) again. If it still does not play, please reply with the exact time you tried it and your time zone. We will then pass it to our R&D team together with the logs.
