ROON Server on Windows 11 PC

I cannot open the ROON Server to change the LAN settings. The icon is on my desktop but does not open. Trying to get the ARC to connect.

Message on ARC APP: “Roon Server is not configured to access outside network.”

Obviously, I am brand new to ROON and almost no idea what I am doing.

Roon Server is an application that runs in the background on Windows - it does not have a user interface of its own.

You change settings by using the main Roon application. Go to Roon’s :gear: > Roon ARC screen to access the ARC settings. Can you post a screenshot of that screen?

You are so kind for helping me. I’ll work on the screenshot in a minute. My class just walked in the door. I am a high school science teacher in North Carolina…

Roon Server doesn’t come with a Window to open, just a symbol that it runs:

You should have a second icon on your desktop that is Roon (the GUI) to access, setup and control the chosen Roon Server.

I am about to give up on the ARC App. I’ve gone into the Spectrum router settings and activated UpnP (sp?) protocol but still get the same “cannot connect” message.

It should not be this hard to do.
