Is Roon Server running?

· No, Roon Server is not running.

For Roon connectivity to work properly, both Roon Server and Roon Remote need to be turned on.

· I can't turn on Roon Server, I need help.

The Roon Server runs on a QNAP NAS. I paid a live time abo for your system and you destroied my good running system with you last update in April 2026!

Give my a solution that i, as a non technical freak, can use.

The latest update has shifted support to docker-based setups on QNAP.

Please follow the steps in this guide to migrate your QNAP to a docker:

This is non-destructive and will not affect your Roon library and settings. You’re simply migrating the database to a Container on the QNAP system instead of running Roon as a stand-alone QNAP app.

Our diagnostic servers show that you might have updated to the latest Roon build. Are we correct in assuming that you successfully migrated your server to the container-based install?

Hello again….Thanks to the instructions, I was able to migrate to the container on the Qnap NAS. I’m very glad that Roon is working again now!!
