Describe the issue

I have a lifetime subscription. had setup my PC as a Roon Server. It has worked well for almost 2 years. Yesterday my OS SSD crashed and I had to install new SSD and reinstalled WINDOWS 11 PRO on the new SSD. On the new SSD I reinstalled ROON and specified it as a Roon Server. Now when I start ROON, I received the following: "You're already signed in. Your subscription allows you to sign in to 1 Roon Server at a time, but it looks like you've already set up another Roon Server. To connect to the Roon Server you preciously set up, just click go back above. If you want to set up a new Roon Server, you'll need log out the device listed below or contact us to purchase another subscription. Logging out will not affect any data on your Roon Server.

Describe your network setup

I have Xfinity network. I use their integrated cable modem / switch. My PC is connected to the switch via LAN cable

Apparently Roon see this as a different roon server. Select the Unauthorize for the device listed. That should be followed by a request to select the server.

Hey @kwingylee,

Welcome to the community! We’re happy to have you here.

@Mike_LC is correct in their statement above - Roon is likely seeing the new SSD as a new client ID, which shouldn’t be an issue.

Are you able to restore a recently saved backup? Once you reauthorize your Windows, restoring a backup will likely be the best next step to get you up and running with your recently saved edits. :+1:
