To properly enable insecure guest logons for accessing network shares, please make sure the following two group policy settings are enabled and share the screenshots with us:

Step 1: Enable Insecure Guest Logons (Lanman Workstation)

  1. Press Win + R, type gpedit.msc, and press Enter.
  2. In the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to:
    Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > Lanman Workstation
  3. Double-click Enable insecure guest logons.
  4. Set the policy to Enabled, then click OK.

Step 2: Allow Unauthenticated Guest Access (SMB Client)

  1. Still in the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to:
    Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > SMB Client
  2. Double-click Allow insecure guest logons.
  3. Set the policy to Enabled, then click OK.

Additionally, please confirm your current network profile is set to Private, which is necessary for proper network discovery:

How to Check Network Profile:

  1. Open SettingsNetwork & Internet.
  2. Select your connected network (Wi-Fi or Ethernet).
  3. Under Network Profile, make sure it is set to Private.

Once both settings are enabled and your network profile is verified, please try accessing the internal storage again and let us know if it works. If the issue persists, feel free to share screenshots of both group policy settings for further review.

I was missing one step, I’ve managed to solve the problem, add the codes to the new core installation and started back Roon!
Now need to restore the back-up
