Roon Server stuck on "Rescanning files: 1/1" after update on Mac Mini (ref#055QF4)

Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· I just updated to version 2.71, build 1683) Roon Server running on a Mac Mini 3 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM, MacOS 12.7.6. Roon is stuck "Rescanning files: 1/1" with no progress. It appears this issue has happened to others; I didn't see a fix. My library is on its own local drive. Relaunching Roon doesn't fix it. otherwise the server is functioning normally. (Of course it's the start of a holiday weekend.. )

I also had the spinner running constantly. There were no skipped files or album art. So I deleted all textfiles in the music directories. (It were thousands of them) After that the spinner disappeared and everything turned to normal.
So you may have to look for some corrupted music or album art files, and if that doesn’t do the job search for text files and delete them (no pdf files)

So do I understand you that I shouldn’t have any text files (.rtf) or .pdf files in my scanned folders? How do I find potentially corrupted files?
