This only started happening when Roon Arc was released.

Roon desktop (v2 b1133 prod) is stable on different Mac mini (M1)

Both Mac’s running latest OS for their chipset / set-up.

No (material) issues presented until Arc build of Roon.

Hey @Melville_Carrie,

You have my sincerest apologies for the delayed response here, we’ve been dealing with a higher-than-usual volume following our release and we’re working as quickly as we can to get back to everyone.

If possible, can you please upload the full crash log here? I’m not yet able to enable diagnostics on your account as it appears your core is not online. If possible, can you provide more details into when the crash occurs? Is audio being played or streamed? Is Roon inactive in the background while your doing other things on your Mac mini?

Any specific steps to reproduce would be helpful. Thank you!

Hi Benjamin

Thanks for responding.

Looks like the recent update (1143) has brought some stability - in that server isn’t immediately crashing…

…however, after that update it appears to have lost my settings, requiring me to re-set-up Qobuz - now done.

It also appears to be confused into thinking that I have no library items - despite that it has remembered my files location details - but displays no library items in the Home page. It also thinks I have no connected devices - despite it being able to play through one via the client App!

Very bizarre!

Bizarre indeed, @Melville_Carrie! I’m glad to hear the crashing has subsided, though.

Do you have a recent backup available that you might be able to load? It wont affect the build/update you performed on your core, but it will help restore your settings/library/services etc.

Here is more info on this (in short, just log out of Roon, and on the login page scroll down to 'Restore a backup" :
