Roon still shows old Synology server name after reinstalling Roon Server (ref#1LNY8V)

I’m sorry but this beginner step I had done. Permission is ok. I try read/write change everything. It’s not problem with permission to the folder. This is problem with new Synology NAS and migration files from old device to new one. Maybe it’s problem after install 7.2.2 since first start of device. I will be waiting for answer from Synology team.

We’ll be on standby for any additional information. :+1:

I waited a long time for a response from Synology, but nothing came. Any solutions sent to me by support didn’t work. So, I decided to use the nuclear option – a hard reset without deleting user data:

Hard reset – Mode 2

After that, the NAS worked perfectly. I had to add the administrator account and reinstall all the applications. Two hours later, Synology was working as usual :slightly_smiling_face:

This server has a new 4-core CPU, so indexing files and other tasks work better than before.

Thank you for your time, help, and all the advice.

Best regards,
Bruno
