Roon stopped running in my QNAP

Hi, My Roon app stopped running in my QNAP server. I have followed up the Container Station protocol succesfully (the app is running), however, when tried to connect remotely, I still see the message of “Waiting for your Roon server…” and the onñy option is to “Select a different Roon Server”. I would greatly appreciate your advice. Thank you!

Please try and “Select a different Roon Server”.

Hello @Francisco_Goycoolea

To resolve the connection issue, follow the advice provided by the community member. Because the Docker container generates a new Machine ID, the Roon system treats it as a completely new installation and requires you to manually transfer the license.

Perform the following steps:

  1. Restart your Roon Server container in Container Station 2-3 times to ensure all network and background services have fully initialized.
  2. In your Roon Remote app, click the Select a different Roon Server button.
  3. Select the new Roon Server instance that appears in the list.
  4. Log in with your Roon account credentials.
  5. You will be prompted to unauthorize the previous native QNAP installation. Confirm this action to release the license to your new Docker container.

Provide an update on your connection status after completing these steps.
