I have been having an issue where music will stop after one or more racks. There is no specific pattern to the problem.

Scenario 1

Click Album

  • Click play and nothing happens but you can see equaliser animation next to track but counter doesn’t start

  • if i click anywhere on the counter it will start playing

  • it will play for one or a few tracks then stops

Scenario 2

Click Album

  • Click play and nothing happens but you can see equaliser animation next to track but counter doesn’t start

Click on track and click “play from here” and it plays the fine - this always works

i don’t have any DSP settings on or anything taxing running.

I was having this issue before 1.8 and had hoped it will get fixed before the upgrade.

Any thoughts please?

Is the Core PC connected to the network via Ethernet?

What device are you playing to? Does the same issue occur for System Output?

Hi Dylan, thanks for getting back to me.

Core PC is connected via wifi.

It’s playing directly to the KEF LS50 Wirelessly.

i actually haven’t tried it to the System out. i don’t know why i didn’t think of that. i will test it out and feedback. Thanks again

Hi @batDroid

Any change if you use Ethernet instead? We recommend using an Ethernet connection whenever possible.

Also, did System Output work okay?

Hi @dylan

it seems the issue is solely with the LS50 WII. No issues with other wireless outputs and system outputs.

I assume i need to raise this directly with KEF right?
