Ok, the lockfile error is more clear. Try this:

Open Activity Monitor on your Mac and see if there are any Roon-related processes still running. If so, terminate them.

Then, open Terminal on the same Mac and enter this command:

cd /tmp
sudo chown $(whoami) /tmp
