Roon Streaming EQ, where to use?

Am streaming online Classical stations via a NUC -lan -RP5
with a Digione hat via usb to a RME ADI-2 DAC to a Monolith THX AAA Balanced Headphone Amplifier to Sennheiser HD650 headphones. Have been using the Roon EQ, however the ADI-2 also has EQ abilities. My question, on which to setup EQ? in Roon or The ADI-2 DAC?.

Thank You

I also have ADI-2 DAC and HD650 (driven directly in SE mode). Before Roon I resorted to Oratory1990’s prescription for 7-band EQ in the RME, involving use of the B and T bands. This originally had to be dialled in using the RME front panel controls.

Since adopting Roon/ROCK on a NUC it seemed a lot simpler to use the Oratory1990 full 10-band EQ for HD650 via OPRA. Roon also handles crossfeed and some modest upsampling, plus a bit of asymmetric EQ to cater for some HF hearing loss in one ear, so it made sense to put all that DSP upstream. The only processing that the RME now handles is loudness.

Could I tell the difference in a blind ABX? No idea. All I know is that Roon is a lot more convenient and together with the ADI-2 in Hi-Power mode makes the HD650s sing.
