Description of the issue

There are 14 CDs in this collection and each one gets identified slightly differently. I use Roon to find the “right” one but then it tells me track times are different/incorrect.

Really want to have this in Roon but feels like I might have to take 4 days to do it.

Any tips?

The good news is that the release appears to be in MusicBrainz.

Since Roon is having difficulty, I would tag the release using MusicBrainz Picard (or a tagger that supports MusicBrainz), and ensure that track and disk IDs are included in the filenames, e.g. 01-01 Das Rheingold_ Act I. Prelude.

How are you having a problem, can you post a screenshot of the folder structure , this is mine and it appears . It ID’ed immediately after the copy.

Are you trying to split off the individual operas ?

which metadata service does Innuos use when ripping?

I’m not sure what Innuous is using when ripping. It’s running my Roon server my assumption (!) is that it does the ripping and uses Roon’s smarts for everything else.

What Roon sees after I “correct” it.

What is ripped on to the drive.

Feels like I need to rip this some place else, do the corrections then import into Roon?

I’ll look into the MusicBrainz as well.

I’ll look into the MusicBrainz as well.

Roon uses the MBID tags, so adding these to your files ising Picard or a tagger that supports MusicBrainz will help.

I’ll give that a shot. Picard is quite intimidating!
