Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?

· Roon is stuck on scanning one file.
Restarting Roon or restarting Roon server does not work.
I use Roon 2.62 build 1641 on macOS Tahoe 26.3.1.

· This is not relevant because my server is on the same machine my database and media are.

Thanks for writing in! We’d be happy to take a closer look. If you could, please use the directions found here and send over a set of logs to our File Uploader? Once logs have been uploaded, please let us know so that we can check the server for your files, thanks!

Hi I just uploaded all the logs from the Roon, Roon Server, RAAT, Roon Goer and Roon Bridge Library folders. If you can identify which file roon is hanging up on I can try deleting it and see if that fixes things.

Thanks for sending logs over! We’re seeing quite a few corrupt files appearing in logs.

If you navigate to Roon Settings>Library>Skipped files, do you see a list of tracks?

A few albums we’re seeing issues with are:

/Volumes/Music/Music/Motörhead/Kiss Of Death [32:192] 
/Volumes/Music/Music/Demon's Eye/The Stranger Within
/Volumes/Music/Music/Visions Of Atlantis/Visions Of Atlantis
/Volumes/Music/Music/Porcupine Tree/Recordings 
/Volumes/Music/Music/Bloodbound/BLOODBOUND - Stormborn

Hi @benjamin I noticed that a lot of these “files” are actually folders and that the full name is not even displayed. The one commonality is that a lot these folder names use parenthesis () brackets [ ] and curly brackets {} in varying combinations.

Could you please upload one or two of those folders to our Media Uploader? This will allow us to inspect them on our side and let you know if there’s a solution.
