Roon support quits supporting

Anyone else experienced that if you post something for support, support is very helpful in the beginning but if your case is closed (because of automatically closing after a few days), support never comes back? Not even after DM? For my last three support questions they are not solved and nobody came back with a status update.

Did you open a ticket or did you just write a message here? Only a ticket involves direct support from roon.

Yes, all were tickets. Last one was closed Feb 11.

Did you answer all of their questions? They also close a ticket in case they haven’t got feedback after a while.

All your recent Support posts are in threads marked [Ticket In]. This means that the issue is wiyh development, and there is no further action from support until there is news.

Consequently, the thread may auto-close. However, Roon support will open the thread with an update when the fix is released.

Thanks @mjw

This is helpful. Then patience it is…

I too have found that the team at RoonLabs will always get back to help. It must be a daunting job for them to work through such a wide-ranging set of potential problems.

Patience!

Let’s not go to extremes. Roon is a meticulously refined system, and any minor inconveniences reported mostly by inexperienced new users are only marginal.

Agreed. The key word in my post is POTENTIAL. Perhaps I should also have written ‘potential combinations of hard- and software’ so as to avoid the impression of… ‘extremism’ .

The team seems to me to manage a complex and sophisticated system very well.
