This is irrespective of client(happens on iphone, pc etc.), happens on all clients trying to play Tidal tracks. Local media is fine. Metadata from Tidal is visible.

Description Of Issue

Just installed Roon on Synology NAS DS3617xs yesterday and it’s unfortunately saying that Tidal songs on toplist or anything is “This track is not currently available from TIDAL” and then “Too many failures. Stopping playback.”

Local media playback is fine. Tidal integration of meta data is fine. But Tidal tracks don’t play…

The same song plays ok in regular Tidal client on pc.

I’m abit frustrated, is there a log you guys need to break this case? And before you ask, yes this NAS has a route to internet and regularly updates itself etc.

Ok, I rebooted the NAS, thought why not try if the pkg needs to start “properly”. And now Tidal streaming works for every track I tried.

Thankyou and sorry for the workflow interruption. Carry on.
