For a long time, the application worked without problems. Now it doesn't find any audio devices. Rebooting the server (on Synology NAS), reinstalling, or changing the RAAT server to a different name to recreate the folder did not help. A backup didn't help either.
Describe your network setup
Synology router, playback on PC, connected by hard cable to router via switch.
Thanks for writing in! It’s good to see you on the community again.
As a next step, I’d like to see how things function on a stripped-down, simple network chain:
What happens if you temporarily bypass the switch, and get a direct connection to your primary router?
Another area to check - your local subnets within your network. Roon devices all need to be within the same subnet. Can you check to confirm all your devices are functioning properly here? For example, checking your router device list, all Roon devices would need to be on the same 192.168.1.cc scheme.
so I solved the problem. So maybe information for other users or incorporation into some of your manuals (for Windows users). If this problem occurs (audio device cannot be found) and the user knows that nothing has been done on the network (new devices, network settings, subnets, etc.), restarting the network from Windows (Network and Internet - Advanced Network Settings - Restart Network) will help.
