Roon unable to recognize Innuos Zenith as an audio endpoint (ref#J4B2N3)

The product/server model name and version? Zenith MK3
The server current innuOS system version? 3.3.4
How is the server connected to the network? Cable
How is the server connected to the remaining audio chain? Cable
What system mode, remote control app and/or server integration option(s) are you using?
Roon Core, Roon Android App 15.08.2025

Attached are two images: one of the error indicating the waiting process. The other image shows that the Zenith is online.

My Zenith isn't working with Roon as a Roon Core. I have a tablet and an Android phone. Innuos without Roon as an Innuos Endpoint works perfectly. As a Roon Core, the Roon app found the Zenith, but the app remains in a waiting state and won't open. I've restarted the tablet several times and also deleted the Roon database. Attached is the zip file with the system logs. Please help me. Best regards, Jens Braack

I’m having a difficult time seeing from your screenshot if Roon Server is active and running. Are you able to confirm this?

  • In the innuOS interface, go to Settings → Roon Server.
  • Click Restart Roon Server.
  • Wait a few minutes and confirm if the status shows Running.

Can you confirm your Zenith and remote devices are all functioning within the same local subnet within your network?

With that, do you have any recently saved Roon database backups?

Thanks for your quick reply. Yes, the devices are active on the same network. The Zenith is also in Roon Core mode.
After deleting the Roon database and rebooting, everything works again. I was also able to restore a backup.
