Description of Issue

Hello, I have already sent the following message to: “Roon Labs Customer Success Team”, which sends me to you:

I can’t install the 2.0 update.

On Sep 22 the updates installed fine on my various remotes, ARC as well. Everything seemed to work fine for a day or two, including ARC.

I have since downgraded everything, Nucleus and remotes to 1.8 Legacy. I also tried a direct software update but I stay on version 1.8.

All my installation worked perfectly before, and works in 1.8 Legacy.
I have a lifetime subscription. Am I doomed to stay in this situation?

Have you followed the steps to upgrade your Nucleus from 1.8 to 2.0 in this help article (which has been updated since it was first published to reflect the current situation)?

I think I can fix this for you. Can you please bring your core online? I just need to send a flag to the unit for it to be updated to 2.0.

My Nucleus is on line and working.
Can I will use my Mac as a remote again , as it was before?
I just made a big mistake: a reset on Roon Database & Settings. No matter the loss if I get Roon 2.

Hello @Alain_DENIAU,

Once the change is made you will need to update all of your other remotes (iPad and iPhone) but your Mac is on 2.0 so no change should be needed there.

Please keep your eye out, the change should happen any moment since I’ve flagged you for this update. Let me know if you have any issues.
