Synology DS918+ (Intel Celeron J3455 1.5 GHz, 4 GB RAM). Roon Server and music library installed on HDD volumes.
DSM version: DSM 6.2.3-25426 Update 2
Roon version: Roon 1.7 (Build 667)
Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)
NAS is connected to Netgear Switch GS116E, as well the CXN2
Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)
Cambridge Audio CXN2, Ethernet
Description Of Issue
Roon Version 1.7 (build 667) suddenly stopped auto-updating the library.
My music folder is on the top level on the NAS: NAS/music.
The only way to trigger an update is to force read the folder manually.

Are you using the latest firmware on Synology/QNAP?
We have heard some reports that updating to the latest Roon build (710) helped:
