Roon version 1.8 update has crashed my Nimitra core

Nimitra core running Windows. Won’t boot after trying to install Roon v.1.8

TEXT GOES HERE

Network Details (Including networking gear model/manufacturer and if on WiFi/Ethernet)

Core is hardwired to the router. Remotes work via wifi.

Audio Devices (Specify what device you’re using and its connection type - USB/HDMI/etc.)

Usb cable connection from core to dac (RME Adi-2). Library on ssds connected to core via usb ports.

Nimitra won’t boot - remotes successfully upgraded to version 1.8 but they can’t connect to the core.

Hi @Vaughan_Barnacle — Are you able to access the Nimitra outside of Roon at all? Does it appear to be powering on at all?

Have you reached out to Nimitra about this?

The Nimitra powers on, but never manages to boot properly. I can’t access it remotely, sadly, and my last two emails to the company have not been answered. Feeling a bit helpless here.

So Keetakawee from Fidelizer is reinstalling the core software for me now. Seems like the database was corrupted. Once the backup is restored, it should be ok.
