Description Of Issue

Roon window goes black after resizing, sometimes after minimizing
Music and controls still work, just the Roon window goes black. Roon needs to be restarted to get back to normal but resizing the window makes it go black again.

Tried updating graphics drivers and tinkering with settings like enabling/disabling V-Sync and G-Sync in the driver, didn’t help. Neither did reinstalling Roon or even Windows itself.
Currently running the latest version of Windows 10 20H2.

Hello @Martin_J, when you reinstalled graphics drivers, did you install them from the manufacturer’s site? Please do not use windows recommendations for your graphics drivers. Also, do you have multiple monitors on this machine? Does it happen when only using one monitor?

Hi,
The drivers are directly from Nvidia’s website. No other monitors connected, just an ASUS PG349Q 3440x1440 ultrawide.

Hello @Martin_J, could you please try the following?

  1. Try the 32-bit version of Roon
  2. Check for and disable overlay software and try to on Roon
