Roon won’t play to my main audio but does to Airplay output

MacMini running High Sierra (OSX13.4), cable to Audio Research Reference Bridge (inc DAC) and Audio Research Ref Amp.

Belatedly downloaded latest Roon and unsubscribed to TIDAL.

Music is in iTunes mainly CD rips.

Roon recognises my Library but won’t play anything to this system. It tried each track for c15secs then skips down to the next and then the next etc. No audio signal.

But, it will play audio with the tracks to the airplay devices on the network.

I’ll add. It has been working fine (I was a very early adopter of Roon) but not since the revised version was downloaded and I unsubscribed to TIDAL.

Thanks for contacting support regarding this issue. Can I please ask you to verify that the firewall on your OSX has added Roon as an exception? You can use these instructions from Apple to verify this. If you have any Antivirus software in place or firewall app such as “Bullguard” or “Little Snitch” I would try to temporarily disable those as well to see if there is a change in behavior. Please let me know if this helps.
