Any update on the Roon/Qobuz issue. I still have songs stopping mid play or not staring. Has Roon addressed this issue? Switching to Qobuz connect and Tidal connect. Very poor customer service! That’s my opinion!
Same issues for me and becoming more frequent in the past few days.
A couple of things struck me. (1) if I went straight to Qobuz connect it returned an error, but unlike Roon it moved on and then played the next track. (2) when I came back to the problematic track after the album had finished playing it was fine and played right through on Roon.
Now if Roon can just find a way to stop and move on, but I suspect that might need a stable problem track to work with, rather than something that clearly gets fixed quite quickly
I have the same issue, very annoying, please give us update.
The silence is deafening…
They said 22 hours ago that they are working on it …
Several related threads have been merged, so maybe you didn’t see the central one (which is this one here)
Just reported the same behavior.
Same here. Seems to be random albums but usually the first track gets stuck at 0:00, and I can’t skip to the next, I have to start playback from scratch at another track.
Hi! What’s not quite right with Roon?
· Music won’t play or issues with my library

· I stream from Qobuz. I verified that I am signed in on my Nucleus One. When I select a track to stream, the loading behavior is observed (bouncing back and forth under the pause button). Sometime later--maybe several minutes later--the track plays. Works great from the Qobuz app. The Nucleus is wired to the router with 1Gb fiber.

Qobuz is a real FU mess ATM, where I am. I’ve tried both Roon and Qobuz Connect. It plays some tracks and drops out completely for no good reason on others, even from one track to the next on the same album.
Playing locally stored files on my Roon server works perfectly, so it’s not LAN issues. Internet works just fine otherwise, so it’s not WAN issues either.
Vinyl still rules the roost in my house, and for good reasons. ![]()
Same here. Getting worse day by day. Only about 60% of tracks play. Bruh
Lot’s of people you’re not alone… I’ve moved your post into this tracking topic.
Hello. I appear to be having the exact same issue with Qobuz and Roon. I also noticed it about five days ago. It’s become worse as time has gone by. If it corrects itself, it usually skips the track I originally selected and will play a random track on the same album or playlist. I have a Roon Nucleus One, running Windows 11. I have also tried most of the troubleshooting techniques listed above. Thank you.
Noticing the same Qobuz wonkiness here this evening. Qobuz, at least via Roon, has been a mess lately. ![]()
The situation is getting worse; it’s gone from a sporadic problem to a systematic one. Roon is unusable under these conditions.
Right, but this is not happening in Qobuz, just in Roon with Qobuz tracks …
Right. Discovering periodically that some or all of the songs on one of my albums have become unavailable is a bit of a pain, but I know how to solve it: add the new version of the album to the library, and delete the version that has become unavailable.
This new bug just fails silently, and worse, Roon doesn’t skip to the next track. It just hangs. For a long time. As I mentioned upthread, I had one instance where the hang didn’t last forever–but it did last for probably a half hour.
If Clara the AI’s comment above is correct then it would fit. The Qobuz CDN seems to be all over the place at the moment. Tracks not playing, then later playing (maybe), then not playing again. And last night I had at least a couple of tracks which simply stopped mid-track and would go no further, perhaps suggesting the Core had been unable to fetch the next block.
It would be good to get some kind of progress indication from Roon Support. TBH I’d have thought this issue deserved a banner at the top of the community pages.
