RoonAppliance.exe internet activity

Hi everybody,

why often I see many Internet activity from the file:

…\AppData\Local\RoonServer\ApplicationRoonAppliance.exe

I have Roon server in this computer and no remote endpoints clients are open and no client is open in this computer itself.

It’s normal behaviour, and nothing to be worried about.

Push.roonlabs.com hit every 20s

Yes, it’s normal for a Roon Core to contact Roon’s backend servers for metadata updates amongst other activities. I see from my Pi-hole system that my Core has a burst of activity every 24 hours or so: [Roon%201128] In addition, Roon Labs collects analytics data about how people are using Roon. This is all spelt out in the Privacy Policy.
