· RoonArc Android stopped working in both of my cars, i verified it shows selected in Android auto on my phone but does not show up on the cars screen. Tidal works ok

Thank you for reaching out and reporting this issue. It is certainly frustrating when an app suddenly disappears from your car’s display, especially after you have already verified it is selected in the Android Auto settings on your phone and other apps like Tidal are working without issue.

To help our development team investigate what might be preventing Roon ARC from displaying in your specific vehicles, could you please let us know the makes, models, and years of both cars, and whether they are using the factory-installed head units or aftermarket systems?

Hi @John_Fergusom,

It sounds like the Android Auto manifest went stale for ARC if the app isn’t registering in either head unit.

Did this occur after a Roon update or an OS update to either the phone or the head unit?

Did you originally install ARC via the Play Store or using the APK?

If you haven’t already, please try reinstalling ARC and connecting again; let us know if this helps.

I upgraded to Android 16 and Roonarc started working, thanks for your help.
