Thanks for posting the instructions on setting up Ropieee. I took a backup of my S2 stream box prior to upgrading and Its 15gb. If anyone wants to switch back just pm me.
Relieved to be off Volumio as I had constant issues with volume control and Roon and instability as a Roon Endpoint. If I edited any settings for S2 output (things like volume curve or max volume levels) I’d have to reset the stream box and Roon core to get them to communicate again. Multiple issues with my logs being spammed with null pointer exceptions, the list goes on. It was very odd as Volumio started out really well as it just worked but overtime with each Roon/Volumio update there just seemed to be far more bugs introduced.
I tested Spotify(set to HQ) output of my Chromecast Audio puck(set to HQ) vs Spotify from Volumio and couldn’t perceive any difference so the convenience of having a single unit was negligible.
