Great to see Everyone. We had a discussion on the following topics:
Roon Muse: The group on the whole were interested in it, but, not sure about the branding. We reviewed teh Interface. Suggestions were a basic EQ mode that was just a Bass and Treble knob, with the advanced being the current UI. Similar, presets for Rock, Jazz, Classical, etc. Also, headphone/IEM presets.
Roon KKBOX: Great to see a new service on board. Concerns were discussed about support through translate; would that further slow down support questions, would that become a barrier for fellow user support.
Truthear x Crinacle Zero:RED: My “unboxing”, review and discussion of these IEMs. Overall they sound good with the right tips. Ernesto is going to get a pair as well, so, we will have another set of ears.
Also, briefly discussed Audio Shows in general etc.
We had IP calling in from the Pacific Audio Show and taking us to several show booths and quick discussion on flat speaker cables with Jeff Smith from Silversmith Audio.
Discussed the EverSolo, Wiim Pro and Fiio R7. As well as what is Roon Ready in the context of these products.
Dave wanted a discussion of chip vs ladder DACs as he has just gotten a Gustard R26.
I heard Samantha also but (interestingly?) couldn’t find her on Roon but Spotify immediately found Samara Joy who I’m going to give a listen to now.
Really enjoyable discussion this evening- it’s great to have music and hifi lovers to chat and shoot the breeze with as they say PLUS a live feed from the Pacific Audio Fest.
(Note for today, I have company coming over and will have to run early depending on their arrival time. Everyone is free to stay on and continue to chat after I leave however)

I agree. good session. Don’t know exactly what I did but checked all connections along the chain and my new Gustard is performing beautifully. Thanks for all the help!!
