Rugby's Weekly Roon User and Music Google Chat

Is there a particular recording you want to highlight?

No, I was listening to about a dozen different performances to hear the differences in soundstage. I wanted to have something in my head to compare to when the Cadence comes in. Also I was also checking out different performance values like tempo, how certain notes were played, relative instrument levels and so on.

BTW, this morning the Cadence DAC arrived in Orlando at about 3:00AM this (Sunday) morning. That means the UPS’s prediction of a delivery tomorrow afternoon will probably come true.

Probably not going to be able to make many more this year.
We just bought a house in Arkansas so it’s all hands on deck every waking minute for the foreseeable future to pack all this sh!t up and move.
Mostly background music only for a while too.

I’m sorr… I mean congratulations! But, also, you looked at the house, and a map, before you bought it?

Hopefully your dedicated listening room will all be worth it. Sanity is important so do stop by and say hello and let us know more when you get the chance. Again, congrats.
