Hi, I opened my nucleus one and it didn’t play…. When I went to the sample rate conversion all my previous setting disappeared and I can’t even select DSD… I use a holo audio red streamer and a holo audio spring 3 kte dac. Can someone help? Much appreciated
Try rebooting the server, it is always a good first step.
Thanks, I got it back but now I can’t get the red to output in USB, only coax and i2s for some reason and the usb sounds better so not sure why it’s not working… this doesn’t seem to be a roon issue now as far as I can tell more a holo audio red/ spring 3…. If any can chime in….
Hi @Roy_Pachinsky,
This Nucleus isn’t currently visible to our diagnostic servers, but your Roon controller devices are still reporting as recently online.
From your post, it sounds like the streamer is only intermittently visible to the Nucleus as a Roon Ready Zone and instead defaults to other protocols that don’t support DSD.
Taken together, these symptoms suggest there might be a blockage with device discovery and the upstream connection between RoonServer and your router.
Please share a screenshot of the Settings → Audio page in Roon, along with the Device Setup page for the Holo Red Roon Ready Zone.
Can you please elaborate on the network hardware in use? Please list all relevant managed hardware that sits between Roon, the streamer, and the internet.
Thank you!
