Hey @Ioannis_Pantelakis,
Thanks for writing in! Here are a few additional troubleshooting steps for you to try:
Adjust Display Scaling on Windows:
- Right-click on the desktop and select Display settings
- Scroll down to Scale and layout
- If scaling is set above 100%, try lowering it to 100%
- Restart Roon and see if the issue persists
Manually Set the Display Resolution
- Go to Display settings
- Ensure the resolution is set to 3840x2160 (4K) or a lower 16:9 resolution
- If it’s set to a custom resolution, try switching to a standard resolution
Update GPU Drivers
- Check for any pending Windows Updates
- Manually update NVIDIA/AMD/Intel graphics drivers via their respective websites
Disable High DPI Scaling for Roon
- Right-click on the Roon shortcut
- Select Properties > Compatibility
- Click Change high DPI settings
- Under High DPI scaling override, check Override high DPI scaling behavior and set it to System (Enhanced)
- Click OK and apply changes
Try a Different Connection Method
- If using HDMI, try a different HDMI port or cable
- Test if connecting the PC directly to the TV (instead of through an AV receiver) changes the behavior
Reset Roon’s Display Settings
- If none of the above work, try resetting Roon’s UI settings by renaming the “gfx” folder in Roon’s database:
- Close Roon
- Navigate to:
- Windows:
C:\Users\[Your Username]\AppData\Local\Roon\Database\Registry\Client
- Rename the “gfx” folder to “gfx_old”
- Restart Roon
Let me know if any of the above help!
