Now that Universal Control is available, Roon also doesn’t scroll in response to a standard bluetooth mouse wheel input. I’m sure being the only ipadOS app that doesn’t scroll with a mouse wheel is perfectly normal, but it sure would be nice to hear that this is something the Roon team is aware of and is working to fix.
Things are on the move!
That is promising news, thanks for sharing!
O.M.G. Is it true? After how many years? I can finally scroll through my roon library with a two-finger gesture on my iPad trackpad. Amazing.
Wow…I think you’re right. After all this time. Now I need to pay attention and see if Roon app stops crashing on my iPad.
Now if I could only search by label from Roon into Qobuz…
It looks like Build 943 has now fixed this!!!
Very great updates and can’t wait to try it out.
Cheers!
Very happy that the trackpad is working!
One issue so far:
I noticed an instant crash of the Roon app on an iPad Pro when I head to settings. Deleted and re-installed the Roon app but that doesn’t fix the problem.
No more crashes than usual here, but moving the order of songs in a queue with the trackpad is not a good experience. This is a huge step forward but it is still work in progress.
Just noticed trackpad finger scroll working! Thanks Roon
Implemented in 1.8.943
Thank you teams at Roon
