Scroll position doesn’t persist: Genres > your albums/artists [Fixed in Roon 1.8 (Build 806)]

Steps to reproduce

  1. From the navigation menu, open the Genres browser
  2. Click a genre with 100+ items
  3. Click More in the Your albums/artists sections
  4. Scroll past the first page
  5. Click on an artist/album
  6. Navigate back

Result: Scroll position does not persist

Out of all the scrolling issues, this is the top problem for me. I have thousands of albums and artists. Basic scrolling from Genres, Albums, Artists, Recently Added/Played and holding positions is the most fundamental need in Roon. It’s a long way down to get back to Zappa!

Same here, Roon album view rarely holds exact poison for me when navigating back to it. Windows 10 & iPad. Both latest.

This bug is here since the start of version1.8.
I don’t get it why it is still not repaired.

Same here. This is a very annoying UI issue. Also have problems when I’m viewing new releases and I filter by category like Jazz. When I hit back button it takes me all the way back to the top level of new releases so not only does it loose context of where I was when I’m looking at a new releases, it also looses context that I was in Jazz.
