I use an ipad pro 11 and when reading a long wikipedia artist biography i have to scroll the text. When i do that the text jumps to the top beginning of the text. Reading that way gives you a headache.
For me reading about artist or album is a large portion of the fun of Roon.
I would like to buy a lifetime roon but now hesitate because i read that this problem is there since 2019 already and still is not solved. What to do and what can i expect?

However, in order to diagnose and resolve any scrolling issues, our developers require specific reproduction steps. We need to know the actual hand motion that causes this behavior so we can pinpoint an actionable fix.
If you’re able to take a video with another device that demonstrates the hand motion and its effect, our QA team will work with development to pinpoint what we can improve.
Scrolling issues appear to remain longstanding on Roon Community because users can easily mistake certain behaviors for the same underlying cause. In reality, a constellation of mechanisms can underpin poor scrolling behavior, each requiring a specific fix to the horizontal or vertical motion component. The threads you’ve referenced have proven fruitful for development when users are able to visually demonstrate the hand motion that causes poor behavior.

Thank you for your reply. It is not possible for me to make a video. I do not have roon at the moment because I’m waiting for the problem to be solved before buying Roon. The way i scroll is very simple. When i need to scroll to read the following text i put my right pointing finger on the screen en move it down towards the underside of the screen while keeping it on the screen. When i let go of the screen the text directly jumps to the beginning of the text.
When I scroll by putting my finger on the screen and give it a sweep and by doing so release my finger from the screen it scrolls smoothly but to the end of the text. That is too far because when the text is long i can not read the text in between.
I think there is nothing wrong with the way i scroll (or do we need a Roon course how to scroll because all the other applications I use have no problem.
