Searching/browsing new music by label is bad in every streaming app including roon, sadly. Why not open it up to browsing by label outside of one’s existing library?

Bring up this old post on ‘Record Label’, recently I came across few good recording companies ef. Telarc, I would like to search more albums of Telarc recording from Tidal (my own library do have record label tag though), only a few able to search but it is because ‘Telarc’ name on album title.

Is Roon able to provide recording label search or it is depend on Tidal searching apps?

No you can’t do a global none library search for a label not even sure the services api offers up search by label at all not seen the option in any 3rd party app.

True… label is too wide search for certain genres. But for Classical, Jazz genres, label search can be a ‘good filter’ for refine search of particular album.

Search by record label outside library

I just discovered that Roon will only search what’s in my library if I search by record label or click on the record label link under Credits. It seems odd given that just about any other link under Credits will give results outside my library (on Qobuz). Any chance of getting this changed?
